Science's Answer for Us and Our Universe Existing

The Big Bang/Bounce

According to a Pew research of 2009 CE, scientists are ten times as likely as the general population to disbelieve in God or even a “higher power.” The truth is, both the Big Bang theory and the Evolution of the Species theory were specifically conceived to explain the universe and life on Earth without the need for an all-mighty intelligent Creator. That things happened "naturally" or "accidentally" all on its own. Or even spontaneously, especially with the Big Bang, how and why it would happen (i.e., expand some close to fourteen billion years ago).

According to https://scienceillustrated.com.au/ (summarized):
The Big Bang theory was first mooted by a Belgian priest and physicist Georges Lemaître in 1927. He "suggested" that the universe began from a single, ultra-mega dense point (i.e., a "primeval atom") and has been expanding ever since. In 1949, Fred Hoyle sarcastically called Lemaître’s theory “the Big Bang idea”.

In 1931, Lemaître introduced a theory saying that the universe had begun in an “ancient atomic blast”, from which it was now expanding, and that all matter in the universe had been created in the explosion. Back then, most cosmologists were still convinced that the universe was static, never-ending, and constant, and they did not accept Lemaître’s model, in which time and space had a clear beginning

Overtime this "atomic blast" (which was initially ridiculed by science) got spun into "an explosion (aka blast) from an ultra-mega condense mass of matter (circa 1960)". This was the generally accepted theory by most scientists of those ignorant times. But as advances in technology enable mankind to see farther and farther, science began to realize that what they thought was the whole universe was only just our relatively miniscule Milky Way galaxy.

Today it is generally accepted by science (i.e., most scientists) that the Big Bang originated from a Singularity aka a ultra-mega super-duper condensed (single dimensional) point. The "absolute nothing" twist and spin of circa 2010-2012 CE, has since been mostly (just not completely, aided by new spins of a Quantum vacuum constantly "creating" and destroying subatomic particles) abandoned.

With life on earth (according to science) started "naturally" from some primordial soup, extremely hot vent at the bottom of the ocean, some natural occurrences, such as those caused by lightning or other "natural" chemical reactions. Or even got introduced by falling space debris. And after that beginning, these precursors of life then began mutating from  "natural"(or "constant and continuous") errors in the DNA replication process.

The Big Bang theory was first proposed by a Belgian priest and physicist Georges Lemaître in 1927. His proposal was bizarre by today's standards (of science and scientists), but nonetheless it was adopted sometime later by science, which then went on to develop that theory until it became (i.e., mutated into) the newly minted ones of today.

Here then (quoting from a Google AI query 2026 01 18) are the several theories of the Big Bang of today (2026 CE):

The latest ideas challenge the singularity, suggesting the Big Bang might have been a "Big Bounce" from a collapsing universe (like a black hole) within a larger "parent universe," or even from numerous tiny, unseen "temporal singularities" creating matter and energy in a decentralized way, potentially explaining dark matter/energy as side effects rather than separate entities. These theories use known physics (general relativity, quantum mechanics) to move beyond a single point of origin, proposing a cyclic or ongoing creation process instead.
Key Concepts & Theories:
Black Hole Universe Model: Proposes our universe began from a black hole's gravitational collapse in a larger universe, bouncing out to form our expanding space-time, potentially explaining cosmic spin and other anomalies.
Big Bounce/Cyclic Universe: Suggests a contracting universe (Big Crunch) bounces back into a new expansion, creating a cycle of universes, often linked to loop quantum gravity.
Temporal Singularities: A theory suggesting countless rapid, tiny singularities scattered across spacetime create matter and energy, explaining the universe's structure and expansion without a single Big Bang or needing separate dark matter/energy.
Inflation: While standard, the Big Bang theory incorporates cosmic inflation (rapid early expansion) to explain the universe's uniformity, but newer models try to explain the initial conditions that led to inflation.
What's Changing?
Beyond the Singularity: Moving past the idea of a single, infinitely dense point.
Looking Inward: Considering the physics inside extreme gravitational events (like black holes) for cosmic origins.
Decentralized Creation: Suggesting creation isn't a one-time event but potentially ongoing or cyclical.
These  theories aim to reconcile general relativity with quantum mechanics to provide a more complete picture of the universe's birth and evolution.

That (the above quote) is basically some variations of science's answers for our Universe. What it is today from when it first began some close to four billion (earth) years ago. What are the numerous possible ways our universe could have originated. But for the time being, we will just stick with the theory that says the Big Bang some close to fourteen billion years ago expanding to create space-time and all the particles of physics (or cosmology) and our universe.

All of the numerous current Big Bang theories are science's answers to our universe existing. First invented or concocted to specifically say that no God is needed for reality (to exist as something). Which means that it was specifically and intentionally conceived and elaborated upon to say that God does not exist and is totally not real.

That absolutely all these things just came about from either nothing, aka quantum vacuum (circa 2010 CE), or something, whether ultra-mega dense/compressed or otherwise. Something as an ultra-mega compressed dense ball of matter (around 1970 CE and before), plasma gas (proposed by NASA circa 2012 CE), or in a Singularity as an ultra-mega dense or compress one dimensional point. Some even suggested that the Big Bang oozes out of a black hole via "a wormhole" from some parallel and larger other universes.

The whole idea of the space-time continuum is to say that time and space  did not exist before or until the Big Bang (created them), so there is "no before" and "no any where yet" to the Big Bang. That everything, including three-dimensional space and the fourth dimension, time, began when the Big Bang began. There is therefore no need to explain why and where the Big Bang happened when it happened. Or what was before the Big Bang, because there is just no before. Additionally there no three-dimensional space, therefore there is no need to explain where did this Big Bang came from. Of explain how the Big Bang could exist because to exist you need to "exist in some place".

It is a very clever or ingenious theory, no doubt a deceitful and correspondingly an evil one.  Because anything conceived out of deceit and duplicity is basically to cause people to go into error (aka to go wrong into believing lies as opposed to being right and truthful).

Which is why one of science's arguments against the existence of God is "If God created the universe, then who created God?" (Read my book "Is God for Real?" for the exposé on the duplicity of science in the theories of the Big Bang and the Evolution of the Species.)

While the Big Bang theory was (originally, when it was first mooted as an official and accepted theory of science to explain our universe) from an ultra-compressed ball of matter (implied in the expansion-contract theory as perpetually existing,  going from an ultra-compressed ball of matter and a humongous universe then reversing itself, with the process continuing perpetually or indefinitely) that "actually exploded" and not expanded (which is the current updated theory) into the universe.

Of course, by today, as with all the ideas (aka fantasies) that mankind concocted, there are numerous versions or variants of this original Big Bang, contraction-expansion, and other more fanciful (i.e., fantasy) theories. Similarly to how life came about through things that are "naturally" occurring in processes that are "natural" to the laws of physics, chemistry, and biology, from things that are "naturally" occurring in the universe by processes that are "naturally" happening all the time. "Natural" and therefore they do not need to be explain how and especially how they first can come about or be caused to happen. Because it is "perfectly naturally".

All of which asserts that no God or intelligent design (from intelligent purpose) being involved at all. That all these things happened "naturally" or from "natural accidents", and continue to happen "naturally" or "accidentally" for almost fourteen billion years. And likely forever or in perpetuity.

No doubt there are some bases to the claims (i.e., in some of the premises) of science in the Big Bang theory. But these bases however do not make the theory itself as something factual even as some of the premises may be valid. Having some valid premises can not on their own make a conclusion valid. Unless these premises can be shown to validly lead to the conclusion.

Evolution of the Species through Natural Selection in the Survival of the Fittest (or of the Fit, of today's Modern Synthesis Theory of Evolution)

Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace independently developed the theory of evolution by natural selection, presenting it jointly in 1858 and formally in Darwin's 1859 book, On the Origin of Species, though earlier thinkers like Lamarck had proposed ideas about species changing over time, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Harvard Museum of Natural History.

Natural Selection, as the mechanism that enables the process of the Evolution of the Species, is credited to Charles Darwin, though the original idea did not come from him. This is the most widely accepted theory of the Evolution of the Species and was taught as fact in the academic curriculum in biology for decades. Until it was replaced by a new, more comprehensive theory, the Modern Synthesis Theory of Evolution.

The latest theory takes into account the latest discoveries of science in Genetics and updated (i.e., to make it more comprehensive) observations of species spreads. It is now the generally accepted, more comprehensive (as opposed to sketchy) Evolution theory by science. While the Mutation theory is acknowledged as the predecessor and technically only partially correct. The part where it says that "mutation" and "natural selection" are responsible for all lifeforms on Earth.

The latest definition of "mutation" is just simply “changes to the DNA", and no longer the "horrifying errors in the DNA replication process" when it was first mooted. Also, per this latest theory, "mutations are no longer random" and intermittent, but gradual (whatever that means).

Basically, to the evolution process, mutation was the bug that has now become a feature. And "natural selection" is not just simply "survival of the fittest" anymore. But includes other ideas such as variation, differential reproduction, heredity, etc.

You may want to read my book "Is God for Real?" (once it is available, if it ever becomes available), where "the fact" of the Evolution of the Species because of completely "natural random mutation" during the DNA replication process is shown to be just lies and duplicity. As also the Modern Synthesis theory of Evolution implicitly said when it spins "fittest" into "fit" and "random" into "gradual" and throw it tons of other reasons to the process to "make it more comprehensive". But still insisting that no intelligent purpose and designs are involved.
